Het kutte is dat Atari hier niks aan kon doen lijkt me? Aangezien Saturn/Amazon het ineens hadden opgestuurd/in de winkel gezet ofzo, ook al is de releasedate dus blijkbaar 31e :/

En Steam... Tsja dat is sws kut dat bijna alle PC-games tegenwoordig via Steam/Origin/uPlay draaien, zo kun je nooit iets eerder spelen.

Ik ben benieuwd. Mn pc trekt t maybe nét (heb alles recommended behalve de RAM. Ugh.) En m net kunnen vinden voor 17,66€ dus ik vind het best.

Jep. Aangezien bijna alles tegenwoordig via Steam etc gaat, hebben doosjes ook geen nut meer. Scheelt kastruimte. en CDKeys.com. Ik wilde dus eerst wachten op reviews, maar voor die prijs denk ik ook van fuck it, lager wordt t toch niet zo snel denk ik

There has been a problem in the communication between the German reseller and atari. This is confirmed from a PR person of the reseller. They took the boxes out of the stores now. Atari will hand out an official explaination today (interesting). The PR person from the reseller also said that they (atari) tries to release at 31st of march.

Your feedback will be critical. To provide us with this feedback, we’ll be creating dedicated Early Access forums on our website and Steam, and we will be there daily, along with the Nvizzio team.

Hoelang blijft deze game ongeveer in vroegtijdige toegang?
“We will be in Early Access until we all feel the game is ready to be shared with the world as a finished product. Yes, there really is much more work we want to do. Het lijkt qua content nog mee te vallen. Zeker met de UGC kan het heel hard gaan en ik heb video's gezien dat het heel gemakkelijk is om content van UGC te importeren in je game. Hopelijk gaat dat een nieuwe dimensie geven aan dit soort games.

Ik vraag mij af of het aantal coasters en flatrides vergelijkbaar is met de eerdere RCT delen? Sowieso ontbreken de water rides en die worden ook niet genoemd in wat er 'next comes'...

I think personally one of the things that has come furthest since the "beta" is the coaster builder. Its super fun and pretty intuitive now. It's got both freeform and piece by piece plus 10 different coaster types to try it out on.

Lots of work we still want to do on that and other core features not to mention add a ton of content but I've got to say I am super proud of the coaster team. They did an awesome job with this tool.

Yes, our focus has been on putting in all the core features. Now we turn to improving those, adding content (new themes and expansion of current ones), and of course adding some cool bigger features like Piece by Piece Custom Structures.

But can definitively already start to build cool parks and absolutely design awesome coasters!

Sound design has come a very long way since the "beta". It's actually a personal pet peeve of mine to be honest. I think it still needs to go further - sound levels aren't perfect and there should be more sounds but I do have to say its pretty cool already. Even the cash register sound from RCT2 made it in! Its definitely better than the Beta. Still a ways to go but yes its really starting to feel like RCT. Now we just need to expand and make it better.

Expansion packs confirmed to be in the plan.
They will keep working on the game for as long as they can
Seamlessly switch between the two coaster building modes by just moving your mouse between the UI to in-game
Change the angle down to degrees of your tracks
Special pieces are in with the piece-by-piece building too.
Supports have been fixed -- they will no longer collide with track
In-depth heat map completed.
Heat map allows to you know the horizontal and vertical G-FORCES
Making custom scenery is as simple as importing model into Unity and using their plugin to import it into the game.
Official guide and explanation on how to create custom content coming pre-launch.
You will be able to create your own peep at launch
More supported custom content support coming in the future (for things like custom stalls)
Filters to search through your custom scenery
Fences snap next to each other, instead of snapping to the ground.
Grid controls in the UI as suggested
Grid system improvements, allows you to build 90-degree paths easily
Water rides are thought about a lot and comes up in their conversations all the time
When they release water rides, they want to have actual fluid dynamics
Waterfalls are also being considered
Piece-by-piece building is going to be in RCTW in the future.
Piece-by-piece is being taken seriously and is likely be better than what we've seen in other games
Piece-by-piece building will include the dark ride system
Peeps have a ton of different emotions
Peeps react to your rides and your rides effect their emotions
We will see peeps in the upcoming stream
Advanced financial system, monitor everything.
They don't have a solid number on the maximum amount of peeps, the only limit is your computer.
Car park actually represents a scale of how many peeps are in your park
New feedback system will make it easy to know what is making your coaster exciting, to help you fix ratings
Day and night was confirmed to be sped up in beta, time scale will be fixed
Full options menu is now complete, full setting control over your graphics
All the memory leaks from the beta have been fixed
They are trying to optimize the game further if they it's possible with hardware partners
Trees in the game will change as we place them, added realism, more variety
Surprise coming related to flat ride coloring
New plaza system in the game
Queue lines fixed so that you can make the queue lines switchback and zig-zag on 90 degrees

Mocht je tijd over hebben: je kunt alvast beginnen met het maken van user generated content die je kunt importeren zodra de game gelaunched is. Aankomende woensdag dus. Dit kan met het (gratis) programma Blender en dit kun je hier downloaden.

RCTW - Main Street UGC

Scanning through the RCTW forums a few new things were announced for RCTW and I thought I would share them with you guys:

- The deluxe Edition will get the new zipper ride instead of 5 terrain textures, those have been added for everyone to use
- An upgrade to Deluxe Edition will likely be added to steam next week to upgrade your normal edition.
- The deluxe edition content is available during early access
- Shortly after the early access release coasters will get a station without a roof so you can use UGC and PBP to decorate it
- The dive coaster in the game will have a holding brake
- Guest can wet their pants if you don't place a bathroom in addition to vomiting when sick
- UGC can support particles (think of the smoke out of the cannons in PC) and lights
- Coasters have block sections now
- You have a number of circuits option for rides and/or coasters
- Five (of the ten) confirmed coaster types in game are: Hyper, Wooden, Stand-Up, Dive, and Floorless
- The standard version of the game will have more than 30 flatrides
- The save system has been locked so save games won't break during Early Access, Beta 1 save games are unfortunately not compatible.
- There are plans for the game to support Unity 5.4 when it goes out of beta, this version adds a lot of performance and graphics improvements and introduces DX12 support on Windows 10
- Linux, SteamOS and Mac versions are coming during Early Access but need a bit more testing and optimization to work perfectly. The platforms will be added for free.
- Sandbox can have limited money!
- "UGC above ground tunnels" are in now. Our testers requested it and we allowed the ability to remove collision boxes from UGC so - yup this is possible. If you build a mountain with a tunnel in it you could put a coaster through it in theory.

Ik ga hem ook gewoon proberen, durf de gok wel te wagen! Zie dat je hem voor nog geen €18 kan aanschaffen, dan heb je gewoon de game die je normaal ook krijgt als je hem voor €40 koopt ?

Jazeker. Er zit geen verschil tussen. Ik volg de afgelopen 2 dagen de forums en het ziet er steeds positiever uit en zoals je hierboven kunt lezen staat er al veel meer content vast ten opzichte van de beta. Ik heb ook iemand gesproken die de laatste build heeft gespeeld (niet iemand van de PR van Atari) en die is heel erg te spreken over de build die we gaan krijgen. Framerate is butterysmooth en het ziet er schitterend uit. Het zijn niet mijn woorden maar het klinkt positief.
