Sony plaatst meer games in de opruiming (via de Playstation Store) met nieuwe deals die geldig zijn tot en met 27 augustus. De nieuwe aanbiedingen betreffen alleen PS3, PSV en PSP games, dus geen PS4 deals deze keer. Als je PlayStation Plus hebt krijg je op diverse titels weer korting.
Interessant onder andere is de Bioshock Infinite Season Pass voor €13,99. Het is een mooie prijs voor alle DLC, en vooral als je de game nog een keer wilt spelen met extra content. Een andere (meer boeiende) deal is Sleeping Dogs-Digital Edition voor €7,99. Alhoewel de game in 2012 uitkwam, is het een prima open-world game. Dit is echt een game die het oppikken waard is als je hem hebt gemist. Al met al dus weer een flink aantal extra deals.

Waarom? Ik weet het niet precies. Maar dat een spel minder dollars kost dan euro's terwijl de euro meer waard is is vrijwel standaard, zeker bij console games, met pc games kun je online vaak keys kopen voor amerikaanse prijzen, helaas.
Misschien in de toekomst maar het is al sinds de ATARI het geval dat spellen in europa gewoon duurder zijn. Origineel weet ik dat er vaak werd aangegeven dat het maken van handleidingen en vertalingen voor europeese landen een kostenpost is/was.

Gelukkig is de wintersale al weer in aantocht. Sony is toch guller met Kerst. Helaas voor hen geldt dat ook voor mij. Wolf among us is wel een goede deal, maar meende te lezen dat die ook voor ps4 gaat uitkomen dus dan zou ik daarvoor gaan: de ps3 versie ziet er goed uit maar hapert bij mij regelmatig (psn download) en lange wachttijden, wat ik wel storend vind in de vertelling. Desalniettemin is zeven euro een goede prijs.

Kijk maar eens naar Japan, waar de spellen nog duurder zijn (zeker de populaire JRPG's). Waarom? Ze hebben daar nog meer geld over aan het einde van de maand om spellen te kopen dan ons.
Het is nochtans simpel: we verdienen meer geld dan de Amerikanen en hebben een betere levenstandaard. Daardoor hebben we aan het einde van de maand meer geld over om spellen te kopen. Je kan niet gewoon een vergelijking maken gebaseerd op de valutakoers.

Daarnaast hebben ze een veel 'gezondere' markt, want veel meer concurrentie, dus ook daarmee zie je snel lagere prijzen.
