first off, excuse my writing in English, but i'm just learning dutch and your spelling is horribly difficult

i have the same problem as most of you, been searching for the TE stick for quite a while. i had a pre-order from bol.com, but all i got was an arsy email telling me my stick will be delivered by april 15 natuarlly i cancelled that order...

currently i'm considering to get a stick through ebay, but if somebody has a better idea, any info would be greatly appreciated!

you'd be surprised - people are realising that nobody's gonna pay 500 euros for a stick, so the auctions are getting reasonable. check this one for example:

I doubt it will - the guy had 6 sticks in "buy it now" auctions (for 400 euros) and sold none of them, so now he's auctioning them off the regular way. with a bit of luck, there might be a bargain.

of course you'll end up paying more than the RRP though :-/

How in the hell does he manage to get on 6 sticks? I'm searching the whole internet and there isn't 1 shop who can deliver them. I've also heard that the Sanwa company has lots of orders because there's a massive modding going on!

That's true: the prices on Ebay are usually ridiculously high if you are looking for a TE stick..

Can you imagine my disappointment when I received my pre-ordered TE stick from bol.com and instead of a PS3 version got a 360 one...

It was pretty bad... But I don't like that kind of speculation which is going on on Ebay regarding those TE stickies and sold mine the same day I got it to some guy for almost the same price (I refuse to make money taking advantage of this stupid (or maybe very nice situation for them concerning their move of getting more attention and interest to their new products) situation at the market created by Madcatz and unbelievably retarded mistakes of some webshops like bol.com in my case . So, that guy drove to my place at 22:15 at night and bought my fresh TE stick for a wrong console: needless to say that he was extremely happy and said how lucky he was that I had decided to sell my stick to him...

At the moment I find myself in the same situation as you, guys. I placed a new pre-order for a TE stick at bol.com and hope I will receive the right one this time on the day of release...

To be honest with you, I have not much time to enjoy SFIV now using that great stick right as I was planning to do so a week ago when I had holidays, purchased SFIV for my PS3 and hoped to receive the stick... Oh well, you can't always be lucky and now I have to start studying pretty hard again...

In case anybody gets his TE stick and decides to write a short review, please don't hesitate and just do it! A lot of gamers on this forum, including me, would be more than happy to read what you think about this popular Madcatz TE stick we all are so crazy about...

Maxap, I wish I would have been that guy, since i'm looking for a 360 version. did bol.com give you any indication on when you would get your stick?

Edit: does anybody know if Japanese or US sticks work on PAL consoles?

No.. They said I had to order my new TE just as any other customer of bol.com out there. People of their customer service had not much knowledge as I could derive it from our conversation on the phone and several e-mails and the only one thing that I heard and which made sense was "we are sorry". There was nothing more they could do about this whole situation created by them self and coming from their own mistake.
Anyway... As I read it on several forums, I guess we should wait till the beginning of April because then Madcatz is going to deliver a second butch of TE sticks to the stores around the world.

There are many visitors on it which tell pretty interesting things and MarkMan (the guy who developed the Madcatz sticks and who is one of the biggest arcade fighting fans in the world) is one the gamers among them...

So, it looks like we should be patient and wait a little bit... In the meantime we can have fun learning SFIV moves and getting better using a controller... Good luck!

Don't forget even those expensive official SFIV arcade machines (20.000 euro) are nothing more than just normal PCs put into fancy Viewlix cabinets... They use the Taito Type X2 hardware. These are not even the high-end PCs, just some Core2Duo rigs with an average Nvidia 7xxx graphic cards...

However I have to admit they look amazing (partly because of the great Sanwa joysticks and buttons which I love)...

It looks nice and I know my boyfriend would buy it, if he had the money and the space.

Nonetheless, he knows not to buy it, since my two darling cats would just think of it as just another toy / scratching pole... 666

Ik had hem besteld maar ben duidelijk meer een pad speler. Aangezien de levertijd nogal lang/onduidelijk is op het moment maak ik liever iemand hier er blij mee dan dat ik hem retour naar de webwinkel. Ophalen voor 80 in Utrecht. Als er vanavond niemand heeft gereageerd gaat ie terug naar de winkel.

Vond je de stick niet goed? Hoe komt het? Als een Bas Rutten fan zou je toch meer van sticks dan pads moeten houden, lijkt mij

Altijd op pad (snes) gespeeld, maar kan er niet aanwennen + hij is zo groot om op te slaan in een studentenkamer...

Heel erg bedankt dat je aan ons dacht, maar ik wacht of zoek een mogelijkheid om aan mijn TE versie te krijgen. Hoop dat jij de pads beter gevoel en controlle geeft!

Ik denk dat ik uiteindelijk ook voor zo een 150 euro stick ga, maar tot die tijd gebruik ik mijn Fighting Stick 3 wel
Kan best een goede business zijn als je een beetje kan solderen/modden: fighting sticks modificeren. Jammer dat ik voor geen meter kan solderen :p
